Denfield Melaine M28, together with Denfield Melanie P36, was purchased in 1996 as a 3 year old. M28 has left a big impression within the herd through her daughters but more particularly with her grand daughters. A high production cow over many lactations who has joined a very small and elite group of Australian Jersey cows to produce over 100,000 litres of milk in her lifetime. Only recently retired from the milking herd at 17 years of age she has a top lactation at 6yrs of 8865 litres, 389 kg fat , 320 kg prt. With 1 X 92 point, 3 X 90 point, 1 X 88 pointdaughters. As well as 1 X 92 point, 1 X 91 point, 4 X 90 point grand daughters, 3 X 90 point great grand daughters and 1 X 90 point great great grand daughter M28 has also helped to shape the future of the herd.
